Upgrading to LED is one of the most cost-effective ways to cut a facility's energy costs, and incentive programs lower the upfront cost further. Think Green has delivered over $15M in incentives to clients in Canada. In Ontario, we are an authorized Save on Energy rebate partner, so the Instant Discount comes straight off your quote. You never pay that portion, there is no application or pre-approval for you to manage, and we collect the funds from the program ourselves.

We also offer full financing, sized to what the project saves. With the rebate applied up front and payments set against your energy savings, a project can be cash flow positive from the first month in many cases.

Incentives vary by province, utility and facility type, and each program has its own requirements. In Ontario, most of the process never reaches you, because the discount is applied on the quote. Everywhere else, we manage the research, applications and verification on your behalf.

How Incentives WorkWhere You Are

Incentive programs are set by each province and utility, so how the money reaches you depends on where your facility is and what we install.

  • Ontario: LED fixtures

    As an authorized Save on Energy partner, we apply the Instant Discount directly to your quote. There is no application or pre-approval for you, and you never pay the discounted amount.

  • Ontario: networked lighting controls

    Rebates for networked lighting controls are funded separately from the fixtures and paid to you by cheque, typically about 90 days after the project.

  • Other provinces

    Programs vary by province and utility. Some are mail-in rebates paid to you by cheque, others need an application. We identify what each site qualifies for and handle the applications and grant writing where needed.

  • United States

    Rebates are available in almost every state and are set by each energy provider, so we check the programs offered by each site's utility as part of your proposal.
