In a store or an office, lighting does two jobs: it shows off your products and your space, and it runs up your energy bill. Dark aisles, hard-to-read labels and uneven light make a building feel tired, and old fixtures cost a lot to run and to maintain at height.
Our upgrades routinely reduce lighting energy consumption by 30 to 70 percent and maintenance costs by up to 95%, depending on what you are replacing. With full financing sized to your savings, a commercial upgrade can be cash-flow positive from the first month in many cases.
Think Green Solutions designs its own fixtures, has them manufactured and sells them direct, then administers the warranty itself. Our longest-running projects are over 16 years old with a failure rate under 5%.

An 80,000-square-foot store and three retrofit phases since 2012, from the warehouse and automotive department to the full retail floor, with LED systems that operated for more than a decade with virtually no maintenance.

40.24% less electricity
Average monthly use fell from 71,322 kWh before Phase 1 to 42,623 kWh after Phase 2, an overall average reduction of 40.24%.
2.7 and 2.2-year paybacks
The 2012 retrofit of the warehouse, automotive department and exterior paid back in 2.7 years, and the $80,000 retail-floor retrofit in 2015 paid back in 2.2 years.
Maintenance effectively eliminated
Scissor lift rentals, aisle closures and labour for lighting maintenance were effectively eliminated, and most of the work was done overnight.
Rona Guelph already had LED fixtures, but when new ownership took over, it was still one of the darkest stores the owner had worked in. Think Green completed a full lighting assessment and a location-specific design that treated the high-bay retail spaces, offices and lower-ceiling zones separately, then installed it in phases during store hours.

Our 10-year limited warranty on LED panels, high bays and low bays is administered by Think Green, with nationwide installation and service teams and same-day response for service.

Programs outside Ontario vary by province, and incentives are available in almost every US state through local utilities. Where a program needs an application, savings calculations or post-installation measurement and verification, we handle it. Think Green has delivered over $15M in incentives to clients in Canada.
We also offer full financing, so a store or office upgrade can go ahead without a large upfront cost.
