LED Lighting Retrofits

Turnkey LED retrofit projects for industrial, commercial and multi-site facilities. We assess, design, supply our own fixtures, manage the installation and administer the warranty, so one team is accountable for the result.

Engineered Lighting Projects Built for Performance

Every Think Green project is delivered turnkey. We assess your facility, model the lighting, design the layout, supply fixtures we designed ourselves, manage the installation and the rebates, and administer the warranty afterwards. One team carries the project from the first walkthrough to long after the lights go on, so your facility gets a system that performs reliably and savings you can measure year after year.
Smart lighting controls can be added to any project for scheduling, dimming and occupancy control.

Our Project-Based Approach

Our holistic, project-based approach is built to ensure long-term value and dependable results.

Our projects include:

  • Free facility assessment for qualified projects

  • Photometric modelling and lighting layout design

  • A 99% accurate second count before sign-off

  • Savings, ROI and rebate calculations in one proposal

  • Installation scheduled around your hours, overnight where needed

  • Project management and commissioning from start to finish

  • Rebate management, with the Ontario Instant Discount off the quote

  • Fixtures designed by Think Green, with the warranty administered by us

  • Optional networked lighting controls, programmed and optimized by our team

We also offer full financing, so the upgrade can be paid for out of the savings it creates.

Smart Lighting Solutions

Greater Control. Smarter Efficiency. Modern Convenience.

Networked lighting controls give you real-time management of your lighting. Zones, brightness and schedules can be adjusted from a phone or tablet, and our team handles the programming, commissioning and ongoing changes as your operations evolve.

Smart lighting suits facilities with shift patterns, variable occupancy or areas that do not need full output all day. In Ontario, controls carry their own incentive on top of the fixture discount, paid to you by cheque in about 90 days.

  • Control zones or individual fixtures from a phone or tablet

  • Create schedules or automate lighting based on occupancy

  • Reduce energy consumption through intelligent dimming and grouping

  • Adjust lighting configurations quickly as operations change

  • Improve comfort, visibility, and workflow efficiency

  • Achieve advanced control without additional complex wiring

Engineered for results

Every Think Green project is developed with a focus on measurable outcomes.

  • Performance

We design systems that improve clarity, safety, and operational productivity. Photometric modelling and smart control options enhance precision and capability.

  • Efficiency

Replacing legacy lighting typically cuts lighting energy costs by about 50% and maintenance costs by about 95%. Optional smart controls add further savings through scheduling and dimming.

  • Reliability

We design our own fixtures and sell them direct, so we answer for how they perform. Our longest-running projects are over 16 years old with a failure rate under 5%, backed by a 5 or 10-year limited warranty, depending on the fixture, and a 5-year performance guarantee that we administer ourselves.

  • Value

Accurate savings projections, the Ontario Instant Discount taken off the quote, and full financing mean many projects can be cash flow positive from the first month.

One Company, Accountable for the Result

Most commercial LED passes through several hands before it reaches your ceiling: a manufacturer, a sales agent, a distributor and an electrical contractor, each adding a markup. You end up paying for spec sheets and commissions, and nobody in that chain answers for the lights if they fail in year four. Think Green works differently. We design our own fixtures, have them manufactured, and sell them direct to the facilities that use them, then administer the warranty ourselves. Our longest-running projects are over 16 years old with a failure rate under 5%.

Every project runs through one team, from the facility assessment and photometric design to installation, rebates and warranty service. Our installation and service teams work nationwide, and when something needs attention, we respond the same day.

FAQs Lighting Projects

We handle the whole project: assessment, photometric design, product supply, installation management, commissioning and incentive applications. Here are the questions facility and operations teams ask us most before a project starts.

In most cases, no. A retrofit reuses your existing wiring and fixture locations wherever the infrastructure supports it, which keeps the work fast and avoids a full electrical overhaul. We never shut a business down. Installation is scheduled around your operating hours, whether that means overnight shifts, weekends, or working through the building area by area so production keeps running and retail floors stay open. A typical big-box retail store takes three to four nights. Where a space does need electrical work beyond a straight swap, we identify it during the design stage and price it up front rather than raising it mid-project.

Installation is carried out by licensed electricians working to our design and under our project management. You deal with one point of contact from assessment through to commissioning, rather than being handed between a supplier, a designer and a contractor, and we stay accountable for the result either way. That single line of accountability is a large part of why multi-site clients keep the same team across successive phases.

Our LED panels, high bays and low bays carry a 10-year limited warranty. Tubes, strips, wall packs and exterior fixtures carry a 5-year limited warranty. Both include a 5-year performance guarantee covering colour stability and lumen output, which means the coverage is not limited to a fixture failing outright. It also covers light that dims or shifts colour over time, the failure mode that quietly undoes the savings on a cheaper installation. We administer the warranty ourselves, so a claim comes straight to us rather than a third-party manufacturer. It is one of the strongest warranties in the industry, and the full terms are set out on our Warranty and Performance Guarantee page.

Yes, and it is a significant part of what we do. We work with multi-site retail, industrial and institutional clients, and rollouts are commonly run in phases across locations so capital is spread and what we learn at the first site carries into the next. Specification, product supply, incentive applications and warranty terms stay consistent across every location, so you are not renegotiating the same details site by site or ending up with four different fixtures in four buildings. We can also start with a portfolio review across every site and a five-year budget plan that shows which locations to upgrade first.

Only if the numbers support it, and we will tell you when they do not. Bluetooth-enabled controls let you zone, schedule and dim from a phone or tablet, and they earn their place in facilities with shift patterns, variable occupancy, or areas that do not need full output all day. They also attract their own incentive funding in Ontario, separate from the fixtures themselves and paid to you by cheque in about 90 days. We model your project with and without controls so you can see exactly what they add to the savings and to the payback before you decide.

It depends on what is being replaced. Where a facility still runs legacy lighting such as fluorescent, metal halide or HID fixtures, a Think Green retrofit typically cuts lighting energy costs by about 50% and maintenance costs by about 95%. Where older LED is being replaced, the energy saving is smaller and the gain comes mostly from restored light levels and fixtures that last. Your proposal sets out the current cost, the projected savings, the available rebates and the payback for your site before you commit.

Yes. We offer full financing on our projects, sized to what the upgrade saves, so you do not need to fund the work up front. In Ontario the Instant Discount comes off the quote first, so you only finance what is left. With payments set against your energy savings, many projects can be cash flow positive from the first month.

Yes. Our nationwide installation and service teams support commercial lighting whether or not Think Green installed it, with same-day response for service calls. For multi-site clients, that means one team to call for every location.
