(d) preparing the lighting audits, proposals, quotes and incentive or rebate applications you ask us to prepare, and administering any project or agreement between us;

(e) sending you information about our services where you have asked us to receive it, or where we are otherwise permitted to send it. You can withdraw your consent to these messages at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us at the address below.

(f) measuring how this website and our online advertising perform, so that we can improve both, as described under "Cookies and tracking technologies" and "Advertising and remarketing" below.

We will not collect personal information about you unless you provide us with this information voluntarily.

In some cases, and in all cases where required by law or regulation, you will be able to update the information that you provide to us either by sending us an email or, where you have established personal profiles with us, by updating your profile online. (b) to enable Think Green Solutions Inc. contractors or vendors to perform certain services for us, including, but not limited to, website maintenance and performance improvement tasks;

(c) to the analytics and advertising providers described under "Cookies and tracking technologies" and "Advertising and remarketing" below, for the purposes set out in those sections.

This website is intended for a business audience. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority in their province or territory of residence. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

In all cases, we will disclose your personally identifiable information consistent with applicable laws and regulations and we will require the recipient to protect the information and use it only for the purpose it was provided.

Advertising and remarketing

We advertise our services online, including through Google Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). To do this, we place cookies, pixels and similar tags from those platforms on this website.

These technologies allow us to:

(a) measure which advertisements, keywords and campaigns lead to enquiries, by recording when a visitor who arrived from an advertisement submits a form or takes another action on the site;

(b) show our advertisements again to people who have already visited this website, on Google Search, the Google Display Network, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram;

(c) build audiences of people whose interests or online behaviour resemble those of our existing visitors, so that our advertising reaches a relevant business audience.

If we provide a contact list to an advertising platform in order to build an audience, we use only information you have already given us, it is matched against the platform's own records in hashed form, and we do not receive new information about you from the platform in return.

You can control or withdraw your consent to this advertising at any time through:

We do not use sensitive categories of personal information for advertising, and we do not direct our advertising to children.

Forms and service providers

When you submit a form on this site, the information you enter is processed through HubSpot, our customer relationship management platform, and stored there so that we can respond to you, manage the enquiry and keep a record of our correspondence.

We use a small number of service providers to host this website, deliver email and manage enquiries. Some of these providers store and process information on servers located outside Canada, including in the United States. While information is in another country, it may be accessible to the courts and law enforcement or regulatory authorities of that country under the laws in force there. We require our service providers to protect personal information and to use it only for the purposes for which we provide it to them.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or for as long as the law requires us to keep it. Records connected to a quote, project or warranty are kept for the life of that relationship and for the period afterwards during which a claim could reasonably be made. When information is no longer needed, we destroy, erase or anonymize it.

How we protect information

We maintain physical, organizational and technological safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold, including restricted access, access controls on our systems, and encryption of information in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information in our care.

You may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, how we have used it and who we have disclosed it to. You may ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete, and you may withdraw your consent to our use of your information at any time, subject to legal and contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide certain services to you.

We will respond to a written request within 30 days. In limited circumstances the law allows or requires us to withhold information, in which case we will tell you why.
