The following warranty provisions, provided by Think Green Solutions® and hereby accepted by the original
purchaser exclude and supersede any and all other warranties, whether expressed or implied. No salesperson,
distributor, dealer, retailer or other representative has the authority to modify or extend this warranty in any
respect, whether verbally or in writing.
Applicable Think Green Solutions® Product
Products covered by this warranty include our PLT series panels, HB2 series and HBR series high bay luminaires and our LB2 series low bay luminaires.
Other Think Green Solutions® products are covered by our other warranties.
Materials and Workmanship (10 Years)
Think Green Solutions® (“TGS”) warrants the above-noted THINK-branded LED products to be free of defects in
materials and workmanship for a period of 10 years from the date of original purchase.
Materials are warranted against substantial deterioration that renders the function of the product impaired.
Materials are not warranted against reasonably expected natural aging over time, such as fading or chalking of painted surfaces. Defects or product impairment caused by improper or unauthorized alteration or use, chemical corrosion, physical accidents or abuse, fire, animal or insect activity, operating outside of specified or normal environmental conditions, and operating outside of Standard Voltage Service Range standards (as defined by ANSI C64 as 10% bandwidth variation for the nominal system voltage) are expressly not covered under this warranty.
A TGS LED product is considered defective only if 10% or more of the individual LED chips within a product fail to emit light.
Performance (5 Years)
Above and beyond standard materials and workmanship warranty provisions, TGS additionally warrants THINK- branded LED products against performance degradation for a period of 5 years from the date of original purchase. Performance degradation shall be defined by a significant change of either or both of the following performance criteria, as measured against an identical new, or co-installed fixture operating in the same environmental conditions:
• Visually significant differences of colour output (colour shift)
• Visually significant reduction of lumen output.
Warranty Claims
The original purchaser must inform TGS of a warranty claim in writing within 30 days of defect occurrence and shall
provide any reasonably requested information, including photos and the original receipt/invoice, to TGS for
evaluation. TGS shall determine, in its sole discretion, whether a product is defective. The failed product must be
retained by the purchaser, and if requested, returned to TGS with a Return Material Authorization.
Think Green Solutions® total liability in relation to a defective product shall in any event be limited to the dollar
value paid to TGS for that defective product. In no event shall TGS be liable for incidental, compensatory,
consequential, indirect, special or other damages.
Freight and handling costs, removal costs, installation costs, and any other service charges related to the repair or
replacement of the product are excluded from this warranty.
Remedy for Warranted Defects
Within 5 years from the original date of purchase, in the event that TGS deems the product defective, TGS will elect to satisfy this warranty by providing one of the following remedies to the original purchaser of the product: repair of the existing product or replacement of the existing product with a new or refurbished part or product that is substantially equivalent.
During the 6th through 10th year of warranty, in the event that Think Green Solutions® deems a product defective,
TGS will discount the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of a new TGS replacement product as per the
chart below:
Severability
All provisions of this warranty are severable. In the event that any part or provision is deemed legally invalidated,
all other parts or provisions remain in force.
